Babies born at St Luke’s Hospital will have their own electronic health record from 2018.
The initiative is being launched at the local hospital and every other maternity unit around the country today with a view to rolling it out over the next 12 months.
Today the HSE and members of the national team tasked with getting this ground-breaking development up and running are visiting St Luke’s and other hospitals to identify what needs to be addressed to ensure this can happen.
