Bereavement Notice: Sr. Louise Phelan

The death has taken place of Sr. Louise Phelan,

Of the Convent of Mercy, Callan, Co Kilkenny and formerly of Ballygeehan Castle, Ballacolla, Co Laois.

She died peacefully on Saturday 27th February 2021 in the gentle care of the Manager and Staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny.

Due to the current Level 5, HSE and Government restrictions regarding public gatherings, Sr. Louise’s Funeral will take place privately (for 10 mourners only) on Monday 1st March, at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Callan. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live on churchmedia.ie (Callan Parish).

Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but cannot due to current restrictions, can leave a personal message in the “Condolences” on RIP.ie
