Big weekend for Lisdowney and Rower Inistioge clubs – Cody says Limerick game important for championship preparation

Its a big weekend for two Kilkenny Clubs.

On Saturday evening Lisdowney are hosting the “Legends Return” which will see a host of both Kilkenny and other inter county stars of recent years taking to the field in Lisdowney. KCLR will be live from there on evening.

Then on Sunday evening in Inistioge Kilkenny will play Limerick in a challenge game to mark the opening of the new development there.

Kilkenny Senior manager Brian Cody says the game will be important as they begin their preparations ahead of their Leinster Championship game on June 21st.

Speaking to KCLR on last nights “The way it is”, Brian admits that not getting to the latter stages of the league is a drawback.
