Claire Grace has qualified for the last 16 of the World Ladies Boxing Championship having defeated her Romanian opponent Cristina Stanca 3-0.
The victory sets up a last 16 fight against fellow European Semi-Finalist, Turkey’s Gulozar Kara.
However, of concern to the Callan fighter she sustained a cut to her left eye and had to be examined twice in the third and final round by the doctor, but it is hoped she will have made a full recovery for Wednesday.
