Brendan Murphy returns to Carlow Senior Panel

Carlow football has also been handed a major boost ahead of the 2015 season as Brendan Murphy has returned to the county’s senior panel.

He had opted out of the Carlow panel last year but is playing with Carlow IT which means he will remain unavailable for the county team during the O’Byrne Cup campaign.

Meanwhile Manager Turlough O’Brien has given his squad a clean bill of health for Wednesday’s second round clash with neighbours Kildare in Athy at 7.30pm.
