A burglary attempt on a north Kilkenny service station was foiled in recent days but Gardaí are still keen to talk to those involved.
The incident happened at about 1:30am on Friday morning in Johnstown.

Garda Lisa Mullins has been telling KCLR News; “Security captured two males in dark clothing on CCTV outside the front of the shop, the cameras were then disabled by the two assailants and Gardaí were contacted and arrived at the scene”.
She adds; “No entry was gained but we’re just appealing to anyone that may have been on the road at that hour of the morning, may have noticed cars in the area or anyone acting suspiciously, to contact the Gardaí”.
