A call has been made for Kilkenny county council to engage with residents that will be most affected by the new Central Access Scheme.
Malcolm Noonan says the authority needs to have an effective plan in place to help deal with noise, emissions or any risk to public safety once the new bridge makes land next year.
The local Green Councillor claims residents to date have not be consulted and he told KCLR news its time that happened.
