Gardai in Carlow made a significant drugs seizure at the weekend.
A vehicle stopped during a routine checkpoint in Carlow town on Friday was subsequently searched and 1.2 kilos of cannabis herb was discovered.
A follow-up search of a premises in the town uncovered 12 thousand euro worth of cannabis and 500 euro worth of cocaine.
1 person arrested and questioned under the Drug Trafficking act has since been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
