Carlow and Kilkenny to fall under high temperature weather warning

High temperature weather warning has been issued for all of Leinster and county Tipperary.

Met Éireann’s notice takes effect at 6am tomorrow (Wednesday, 12th Aug) and runs to 6am Friday (14th Aug) with a return to very warm and humid conditions.

Temperatures are expected to exceed the 27 degree Celcius mark, not falling below 15 at night time.

Again, this could lead to uncomfortable sleeping, heat stress, water safety issues and animal welfare concerns.
