Carlow Councillor Adrienne Wallace calls for swimming pools to be more accessible

Swimming pools need to be more accessible for those with additional needs.

That’s the call from one local councillor who believes improved access could involve ensuring sufficient space within the pool, maintaining a comfortable water temperature, offering quieter and more serene swimming sessions, and incorporating specialised equipment to support mobility or other physical requirements.
