Carlow Councillor says more needs to be done to boost Ducketts Grove as a tourist attraction

A Carlow councillor says everyone should be working together to make a local tourist attraction one of the best in the region.

John Pender says it must a priority to get some life into the site at Ducketts Grove.

It was raised at yesterday’s meeting of the county council with criticism of the current leaseholders for not attending a recent SPC meeting to discuss matters relating to the site.

Councillor Pender says it’s a fantastic attraction but improvements can be made there to make it even better.
