A Carlow councillor has called for the keys to 38 new homes to be handed over to prospective buyers.
Ballyknockan Manor in Leighlinbridge was never finished by the developer and was taken charge of by Carlow County Council back in 2016.
At the recent Bagenalstown MD meeting Cllr Daniel Pender asked what the hold up was.
He was told the hold up in distributing them was that the agreement between the contractor and the approved housing body had not yet been finalised.
Cllr Pender told KCLR News “I hope to see a speedy resolution to this because it’s 38 new homes for 38 families to get on with their lives and move into and start living. I hope to see a speedy resolution to this”.
