Carlow Councilor John Cassin calls for proposed plans for iconic Dublin building to be scrapped

A local councillor is calling for plans for the GPO in Dublin to be scrapped.

John Cassin tabled a motion at Carlow County Council’s monthly meeting last evening asking for a halt to any redevelopment or commercialisation proposals of the iconic building.

It was passed by members.
