Carlow Detective Branch and public praised by local Garda Superintendent after stolen items recovered

Stolen items from County Carlow have been recovered.

A report from a person regarding a man on his property was made to Gardaí in Athy and a man subsequently arrested, detained and interviewed at Kildare Garda Station.

The suspect was also interviewed by Gardaí in Carlow in connection with recent thefts and burglaries which resulted in a number of searches locally yesterday during which a number of items was recovered.

A court appearance followed yesterday afternoon, the man charged with a number of offences, including burglary, thefts and trespassing.

Superintendent Anthony Farrell complimented the Detective Branch in Carlow for this excellent work and also told KCLR News that “Public assistance was paramount in this case”.
