The manager of a Carlow food kitchen says the demand for the service is still strong.
It started out providing food parcels for those in need around the county but now St Claires Hospitality Kitchen provides up to 130 people from the area with a nourishing hot meal 3 days a week.
Michelle Maddock says its not just people who have been left homeless that they are seeing every week.
She says lots of people in the area have yet to feel the effects of a so-called ‘recovery’.
