Carlow GAA Season wraps up with U21 and Minor County Finals

carlow_gaa_crest_400x400St. Mullins won their ninth under 21 hurling title defeating Naomh Eoin by eight points at Dr. Cullen Park yesterday.

St. Mullins led by 0-8 to 0-3 at half time. Four minutes in to the last period two goals in side of a minute from Marty Kavanagh and Eddie Doyle set the saints on the road to victory,

Final Score – St. Mullins 2-12, Naomh Eoin 0-10

Captain Paul Doyle was presented with the Jack Monaghan Cup by Co. Chairman Michael Meaney

Mt. Leinster Rngs minor hurlers won the minor hurling league defeating Erins Own by five points Kevin McDonald scored 1-9 for the winners.
