Carlow junior football finalists to be decided today

The finalists in the Carlow Junior A football championship will be known this evening.

A double header of semi finals take place in Dr Cullen Park today.

Eire Og take on Palatine at 3.45pm before St Patricks, Tullow face Ballon at 5.15.

Among the games in Kilkenny today, Mullinavat take on St Martins in the Senior Camogie league final.

Throw in at Clara is at 5pm.

In intercounty football news, Jim McGuinness has stepped down as Manager of the Donegal Senior Football Team.

McGuinness guided the county to two All Ireland finals in three years, with an historic win in 2012.
