Carlow and Meath Senior hurlers compete in challenge game in Fenagh

Carlow will play NUI Galway on Sunday January 11th in the Bord na Mona Walsh Cup That game will be at Dr. Cullen Park

 

Vice chairperson of Leinster Council of the GAA Jim Bolger officially opened a one kilometre walking track around the perimeter of the two pitches at Clonmore GAA Club   Woodside Hacketstown yesterday morning.   It was a special occasion for Jim as he played all his football with the club and is a life-long member. Jim praised the vision of the hard working committee to make sure the walking track came to fruition to benefit all the people from the whole area and a wider area to use the facility.

 

Naomh Eoin and Ballon brought the curtain down on the 2014 club scene with the last game on Saturday last as Naomh Eoin won the senior football league Div 5 final Naomh Eoin 1-9 Ballon 0-9.

 

Carlow GAA and the clubs of the county will look back on the year past as they meet on Friday evening in the Eire Og club house for the annual convention at 7-30
