Carlow Town revamp looks set for go-ahead

There’s good news for Carlow – the town is to share in a fund to help its regeneration plans.

Money has been pledged through the Southern Regional Assembly to ensure plans to revamp the town get to the next stage.

Carlow will have to share a fund of more than €880,000 with two other projects in Clare and Kerry.
