Carrickshock and Rower to replay after q-final draw

It ended all square in Thomastown earlier as Carrickshock and Rower Inistioge drew 0-12 each in the first Kilkenny senior hurling q-final of 2014.

Thnaks to the aid of what could easily be described as a gale in the first half the Rower led by 0-7 to 0-4 at the break.

However with the Power family beginning to gel it was level for much of the second half.

Richie Power failed to see out the 60 minutes-receiving a second yellow on 55 minutes.

Jamie Power scored a point with 58 gone to make it 0-12 to 0-11 before Michael Grace slotted a free to set up another day out for both sides next weekend.
