brian-codyBrian Cody is to stay on as Kilkenny hurling manager for the coming season.

After leading the Cats to their 35th All-Ireland senior hurling title this season, the Village man has committed to a 17th season at the helm and will be joined by his current backroom team of Mick Dempsey, James McGarry and Derek Lyng.

Septembers win over Tipperary was Codys 10th All Ireland as manager of Kilkenny senior hurlers.

Pat Hoban, who managed the Kilkenny Minor side to win the Irish Press cup this year stays on as Minor boss with his selectors Pat Nolan, Sean Kelly and James Meagher and Briain Ryan at under 21 with selectors yet to be appointed.

Christy Walsh, Peter Dukelow, Pat O’Hanlon, Frank O’Meara and Pat Mulrooney will look after the footballers.
