A Carlow Fianna Fail Councillor has raised concerns over the lack of funding available for the Town regeneration project.
The matter was raised at the last Carlow municipal district meeting.
Fintan Phelan says the now retired county manager Tom Barry had promised a 20 thousand euro fund to revive parts of the town like Tullow St, Dublin St and Kennedy St.
But he told KCLR Live this morning that fund has now been cut dramatically to 8 thousand with the other 12 thousand euro to be spread out across the county.
