Covid-19 latest: 365 new cases confirmed

103 patients being treated for Covid-19 in hospital, with 41 in intensive care.

There are 365 new cases of Covid-19 in the Republic.

There’s still no figures available on county cases numbers or on Covid-related deaths due to the effects of the ransomware attack on the HSE.

103 patients are in hospital with the virus – 24 fewer than Monday night.

41 are in intensive care – down three on 24 hours previously.

Meanwhile, a certificate to facilitate travel within the EU in the summer has moved a step closer.

The European Commission President’s confirmed the IT infrastructure will be ready at EU level on June 1st.

It comes as the EU re-iterated its view 70 per cent of adults will be vaccinated against Covid by the end of July.
