Delta Sensory Gardens in Carlow is set to light up our TV screens tonight.
Known and loved locally, the award-winning space of 2.5acres features limestone sculptures, water features and more with entry via its Thyme Cafe.
It’s the focus of RTÉ One series ‘Home Grown’ from 8:30pm.
Mark Boland is Series Producer and Director of Scéal Creative Ltd, working on behalf of InProduction TV for RTÉ. He says; “We really enjoyed working with everyone in Delta Sensory Gardens on your segment and I must say that I am extremely proud of this series and excited for the Irish gardening public to see the
programme.”
Trevor Gillespie, Project Manager of Delta Sensory Gardens commented “We were delighted to hear that the production company were very happy with the outcome, and we are looking forward to watching the series every Wednesday for the next couple of months. We will gather Delta Sensory Garden and Café Thyme staff and Delta employees, management, board members, service users and families together on the 27th of March to enjoy watching our segment in Episode 7”.
“We were extremely fortunate that filming day was one of the few days the sun shone last July and host Kitty Scully, the camera and production crew were extremely professional and supportive of us amateurs in front of a camera”, Trevor added.
