Discovery of dead swans referred to National Parks and Wildlife Service for investigation

Concerns regarding the safety of swans have been raised again locally after another has been found dead.

At least five have been found at various points along the River Barrow in the past few weeks, most recently on Wednesday afternoon at Milford.

Carlow County Council has told KCLR News it’s referred the matter to the National Parks & Wildlife Service for investigation.
