Program 1 – Diversity Matters

In this program Thiru, a Tamil poet from Sri Lanka talks about his experiences of civil war, seeking asylum in Ireland and finding housing and employment in Carlow. We learn about the support provided by Immigrant Service Kilkenny with Therese Delahunty and speak to a successful female entrepreneur from Poland, Eva Milka, who runs Gaelic Escargot, a snail farm in Garryhill Co Carlow
