This is the fourth programmes in the series What Has Europe Ever Done for the Environment and today we look at Greener Business. Susan Clarke brings us interviews with the local swimming pool in Kilkenny, The Watershed, who have made steps to make their energy usage more environmentally friendly, and Carlow Local Enterprise Office who run a course for small businesses called Green for Micro. Finally, Brian Redmond chats with Gráinne Kennedy, Energy Engineer with 3CEA who goes through regulations and legislation coming from Europe about energy efficiency and sustainability for businesses. The European plans mentioned in this programme are the Circular Economy Action Plan and the European Business Awards for the Environment.
