The use and sale of e-cigarettes is to be banned in all local hospitals and health centres run by the Health Service Executive.
The ban will be imposed from May 1st – in all HSE buildings and sites around the country.
The HSE says there’s currently no evidence that e-cigarettes are safe for long-term use – or are effective to help you stop smoking.
