The Education Minister will address the last of the teachers conferences this afternoon, at the TUI in Kilkenny.
Ruairi Quinn was loudly heckled and jeered by secondary teachers at the ASTI conference in Wexford yesterday evening, while primary teachers at the INTO congress in Kilkenny were more forgiving.
The Minister will address the other secondary teachers union, the TUI which is considering joining forces with the ASTI.
Both unions are engaged in industrial action in opposition to Junior cycle reform.
