Emergency Services Attend Scene of Overnight Fires on Waterford/Kilkenny Border

Emergency services were at the scene of another major scrubland blaze overnight on the Waterford/Kilkenny border in Ferrybank.

It’s understood four large fires were lit late Friday evening in the field directly behind the Clover Meadows estate, with Waterford City Fire Service and local Gardaí attending the scene.

This incident follows a number of blazes in the area over the past three weeks.
