Carlow and Kilkenny’s Leaving Certificate students were on good behaviour last night as they celebrated their exam results.
Approximately 2,000 students received their results in schools across the two counties yesterday with local Gardai reporting no arrests or public order incidents overnight.
A Garda spokesperson said Carlow town was “very quiet” last night with Kilkenny Gardai also reporting no problems with students.
The next hurdle for many local students will be the CAO offers which will arrive in the post next Monday.
