Farmers in Carlow are set to protest later.
IFA members locally were due to gather last week as part of a nationwide show of solidarity with colleagues across Europe but postponed that following the fatal road crash in the county.

It’s now set to go-ahead this evening (Thurs) with a cavalcade of tractors due to leave the FBD offices on the O’Brien Road from 7pm to work its way through Carlow town.
They’re expected to finish up in the Woodie’s carpark after 8pm.
