Fight stops traffic on Tullow Street

A brawl involving up to 7 men held up the traffic on Carlows Tullow Street during rush-hour yesterday evening.

A number of 999 calls alerted local Gardai to the incident and they have confirmed a number of men were fighting in the middle of the road there as terrified motorists looked on.

Its understood there were no serious injuries as a result of the fight.
