Phil Hogan says he’s looking forward to a new challenge and a new opportunity.
The former Carlow Kilkenny Minister and EU Commissioner is setting up a new consulting business advising business on their dealings with Europe.
The Kilkennyman was forced to resign from his role as Trade Commissioner after breaches of the public health regulations last August in the wake of the golfgate scandal.
Mr Hogan told KCLR’s Sue Nunn this afternoon that he was “Delighted to establish this new consultancy which will give advice to European and Global companies”.
It’s understood that the first will be Vodafone.
It represents a new challenge and a new opportunity for the Tullaroan native.
