Four city centres apartments were evacuated this morning after a blaze broke out in their building.
It happened just after 9 o’clock at Wellington Square, between Chapel Lane and James Street.

Three units of the local fire brigade attended, bringing the situation quickly under control.
Nobody was injured and the properties were saved.
Meanwhile, units also attended a separate incident in the city earlier following an alarm sounding, but it appears there was nothing to report there.
