Four masked men access County Carlow home and attempt to tie up its lone occupant

Another local man has endured a traumatic experience at the hands of a masked gang.

Following Monday evening’s incident in the Castlecomer area of north Kilkenny on Monday evening which saw a homeowner tied up by three men, a similiar fate awaited a man living at Clonogan, Clonegal in County Carlow last evening.

He answered his door and was confronted by four men who forcefully entered the house – they attempted to tie him up before fleeing on foot, though it’s believed they had a vehicle nearby.
