Frosty start for Carlow and Kilkenny following stunning skies last night

We’re off to a frosty start in Carlow and Kilkenny.

It follows last night’s dramatic sky display as the Northern Lights were sighted in many spots locally, from Callan in County Kilkenny to Carlow town.

Temperatures this morning remain low with some frost and mist lingering – it will clear across the morning to leave a mainly dry day with sunny spells.
