Funeral details have been announced for the Carlow man who died in a crash in Co Kildare on Sunday.
Gar Fennelly of Rutland Terrace, Bennekerry was cycling on Sunday when he was involved in a collision with a car at Knocknagee, close to Carlow town, just over the county border, just before 11:30am.
Aged in his sixties, he was pronounced dead at the scene and taken to Naas General Hospital for post-mortem examination.
He’ll be reposed at McGuill’s Funeral Home in Bennekerry from 4pm on Wednesday afternoon concluding with Prayers at 7:30pm that evening.
On Thursday morning then he’ll be removed to nearby St Mary’s Church for 11am Mass, after which he’ll be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

Meanwhile, Gardaí continue to seek witnesses to the incident, in particular any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), and who were travelling in the area on the date between 10.30am and 11.30am.
