“GAA was a way of life for Liam” says former Kilkenny County Chair Ned Quinn of the late Liam O’Neill

Sadness has been expressed locally on the death of former President of the GAA Liam O’Neill.

As the 37th Uachtarán of the sporting body, the Laois native led the organisation between 2012 and 2015 after serving club, county and province with distinction over the course of a long administrative GAA career

Liam in latter times served as Trustee of the Camogie Association a position he was proud to hold.
