Gardaí appeal for witnesses following burglary in Carlow Town

The burglary occurred at a building site in the Graiguecullen area sometime between 1.30am and 7am yesterday morning. 

Gardaí say more than 30-thousand euro in damage was done to heat pumps and that copper wiring was also stolen.

Crime Prevention Officer Sgt. Eddie Brennan has appealed to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have information to pass it on to Gardaí in Carlow.

“If there was anyone in the area overnight ,they may have been passing – taxi runs, night shift, couriers, who knows”.

“They may well have been on the road in the Graiguecullen area and they may have noticed something unusual or something suspicious”.

“If they could get in contact with Carlow Gardaí please”.
