Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road crash in county Wexford.
It happened at about 11:30am yesterday (Monday, 18th May) on the R702 close to Curraghgraigue in Enniscorthy.
Emergency services responded to the single vehicle incident which saw the car driver, a man aged in his twenties, pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford and the Coroner notified, while a technical examination was carried out on the route stretch.
Anybody who saw what happened or who might have CCTV/dashcam footage from the R702 between 10:30am and 11:30am on the morning in question is asked to contact investigators – you can do this via any Garda station or the Confidential Line: 1800 666 111.
