Gardaí appeal for witnesses after serious assault in Kilkenny

Gardaí are looking for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in Kilkenny.

The incident happened on High Street at about 2am on Monday morning of this week (9th January) and the victim had to be taken to hospital.

Garda Caroline O’Malley says they’re looking for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to come forward and they’re especially interested in speaking to taxi drivers who may have been working in the area on that night.
