Gardaí in County Carlow bidding to track down a burglar believed to have made an escape on an e-scooter after early morning incident

Gardaí are bidding to track down a burglar who made his escape on an e-scooter from an incident in Co Carlow.

It happened between 3am and 3:20am on Tuesday, 19th of March, at a Petrol station on the Bunclody Road in Tullow during which a number of cigarettes and vapes were taken.

Garda Niamh Doran says; “There as you’re coming out of Tullow on the left the petrol station burgled during the night so entry was gained through the window, believed to have occurred between 3 and 3:20am, what we do have is that the suspect travelled on an e-scooter to the premises so if anybody was out and about in Tullow and if they saw anybody or recognise anybody on an e-scooter or has any dashcam, Tullow would appreciate a call”.
