Gardaí are still seeking to track down those responsible for the theft of 70 catalytic converters.
The vehicle parts were taken from the South Kilkenny / Waterford city border area of Ferrybank last weekend.
Sgt Conor Egan has been telling KCLR News “Between 11:30am on the 13th of Sept and 1:30am on the 15th of Sept a property at Killaspy, Ferrybank was entered and 70 catalytic converters were stolen from where they were stored”.
He adds “These are high value items if you are offered a catalytic converter at a knock-down price or in unusual circumstances bear in mind it could be stolen”.
Anybody with information should contact any local garda station.
