Gardai are warning locals not to get caught out by scam artists.
Its after someone handed over 200 euro in Kilkenny for an ipad and an iphone 6 that never materialised.
They were offered the goods after being approached outside a local shop and agreed the price before handing over cash for a bag that supposedly contained the items but didn’t.
Gardai say if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.
