Gold and Silver Kilkenny bound following last night’s hotel awards

Some big industry prizes are coming to Kilkenny following last night’s Virgin Media Business Gold Medal Hotel Awards.

Close to forty accolades were handed out at the event, five of them to local establishments.

The Pembroke Kilkenny Hotel was named Ireland’s Boutique Hotel of the Year, the city centre venue also taking silver for Ireland’s Breakfast Experience.

The Lady Helen at Mount Juliet in Thomastown was best in the Ireland’s Five Star Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant category, Newpark Hotel was declared tops for Family Friendly Hotels.

While Lyrath Estate was a silver winner for Business and Conference Hotel.
