Hundreds turned out to welcome home two-time Gold Cup Champion Galopin Des Champs last evening.
The horse was paraded through Leighlinbridge with chances for people to have their photo taken with him.

Trainer Willie Mullins said of the gathering; “I was surprised how many people came and from where they came, I was just amazed at how far people travelled for what essentially would be, I thought, just a very local event”.
