Inistioge resident warns there’ll be no more film shootings in the County Kilkenny village should works take place

A County Kilkenny resident’s warning that there’ll not be any more film shootings in Inistioge if works go ahead in the village.

Kilkenny County Council has plans to improve parking and traffic there, but not all are happy.

The picturesque Kilkenny village has been the scene for many films like ‘Circle of Friends,’ ‘Widow’s Peak’ and more recently ‘The Secret Scripture’.

But John Gilsenan’s been telling KCLR’s The Way It Is that the Producer of the latter production, Noel Pearson, has confirmed to him that he would be looking elsewhere if the changes go ahead.
