A Garda investigation has been launched following the discovery of a body in County Wicklow.
The finding was made near a playground in Bray at about 6pm last evening (Sunday, 19th Jan) after Gardaí and emergency services responded to an incident on Boghall Road where they found the man, aged in his thirties, with serious injuries. He was unresponsive and treated at the scene but was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The scene has been preserved for forensic and technical examination with the State Pathologist and local Coroner notified.
It’s also understood a number of adjoining areas have been closed off, including a local primary school, community centre and church car park.
No arrests have been made and Gardaí say they’re investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the death.
