The countdown is continuing to Saturday’s Joe McDonagh Cup Final, with Carlow set to take on Laois at Croke Park.
Throw-in is at 3.45pm and the game will be live on KCLR with thanks to June Doran Properties.
Carlow head into the decider after an impressive campaign under first-year manager Pat Bennett, with the Barrowsiders producing a string of strong performances to reach the final.
Goalkeeper Brian Treacy believes Bennett and his management team have made a major impact since taking charge, helping to create a positive environment within the squad.
“In fairness to Pat and the management team he’s brought with him, it’s just worked really well. It just gels very, very well with the group of players as well.
“We are delighted in his first year to get to the Joe McDonagh Cup final.”
Carlow will now look to cap off a successful season by lifting the Joe McDonagh Cup at GAA headquarters, with old rivals Laois standing in their way.
